The city of Beaver Dam will receive lump sum, clearly marked, sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc. for the “Amphitheater/ City Hall Renovation, Beaver Dam, Kentucky” project. The project includes acceptance of all existing conditions which are to be inspected by all bidders prior to bidding, alternates as defined in the contract documents and all other general construction, work specified in the Contract Documents prepared by the Architect - Hawkins Abney, PLLC dated January 14, 2026.
The project includes finishing out the interior of an existing wood post framed metal building into a gang of men / women / and family use toilet rooms on the site of the Beaver Dam Amphitheater as indicated in the construction document drawings and this project manual. This project also consist of the renovation of the existing gang restrooms located inside the amphitheater turning those spaces into 2 – dressing room spaces and a general office space. An alternate bid is included on the Form of Proposal for a lump sum price to renovate the administrative space directly inside the Beaver Dam City Hall building. The alternate bid will consist of demolition of the existing casework and interior finishes and installing new casework, walls, paint, flooring, suspended acoustical ceiling system, etc.
A Pre-Bid Meeting for all bidders will be held on Tuesday January 27th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time at the Beaver Dam City Hall Meeting Room, located at 309 West Main Street, Beaver Dam, KY 42320. All attendees must sign in at the front lobby then be directed to the meeting room.
Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on February 6, 2026, at the Beaver Dam City Hall Meeting Room, located at 309 West Main Street, Beaver Dam, KY 42320. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms contained in the Project Manual and enclosed in a sealed envelope with the following on the outside:
Bid Documents may be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of One Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the City of Beaver Dam. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue.
