The Project name is “AMVETS POST 75, PROPOSED NEW BUILDING, OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C. Drawings and specifications are dated November 15, 2025

Abbreviated Written Summary: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the Contract can be summarized as follows: Project Description: Construct a new one-story metal stud assembly structure consisting of 9,750 square feet.

The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, building demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, ornamental metal fences and gates, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, adhered concrete masonry veneer, unit masonry assemblies, structural steel, steel deck, cold formed metal framing, cold formed metal trusses, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, spray polyurethane foam insulation and barrier system, open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation, metal roof panels, formed metal wall panels, thermoplastic membrane roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, aluminum vinyl clad windows, door hardware, glazing, mirrors, gypsum board assemblies, ceramic tile, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient floor tile, resilient wall base and accessories, carpet tile, painting, visual displays and casework, toilet compartments, signs, post and panel signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, operable panel partitions, toilet and bath accessories, food service equipment, HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical (power & lighting) systems, and clean-up and removal of construction debris.

Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.

A prebid conference will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at Amvets Post 75, 2600 West 2nd Street, Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Thursday December 18, 2025, at RBS Design Group, 723 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, Kentucky 42301, and then at said office and privately opened.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of One Hundred Fifty Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of One Hundred Fifty Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the Owner. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
