The Butler County Board of Education will receive lump sum, clearly marked, sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc. for the “A.T.C. Improvements, Morgantown, Kentucky” project. The project includes acceptance of all existing conditions which are to be inspected by all bidders prior to bidding, alternates as defined in the contract documents and all other general construction, work specified in the Contract Documents prepared by the Architect - Hawkins Abney, PLLC dated October 21, 2025.

The project includes multiple bid packages including Bid Package 01 which includes the removal and disposal of the existing concrete stairs, railings, and portion of sidewalk located in the front of the Butler County Area Technology Center as well as new chain-link fences and gates where indicated on the Contract Documents. Bid Package 02 includes the removal and disposal of the existing EPDM roofing membrane, insulation, and fasteners and replacing with new poly-iso insulation, glass-fiber gypsum cover board, and new 60-mil EPDM roof membrane. Bid package 02 includes two alternate bids as follows: Alternate Bid 1 – Add one additional layer of 1.5” polyiso insulation and new gutters and downspouts. Alternate Bid 2 – New gutters and downspouts. Bid Package 03 includes milling and installing new asphalt paving at areas indicated on drawings, also includes one alternate bid for additional paving areas as indicated on drawings. Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on December 2, 2025, at the Butler County Board of Education, located at 203 North Tyler Street, Morgantown, KY 42261. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms contained in the Project Manual and enclosed in a sealed envelope with the following on the outside:

A Pre-Bid Meeting for all bidders will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Butler County Area Technology Center, 178 Academic Way, Morgantown, Kentucky 42261. All attendees must sign in at the front lobby then be directed to the meeting room.

Bid Documents may be obtained from MACO - Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of One Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Butler County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco - Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue. No partial sets will be issued.
