CALLOWAY CO. HIGH SCHOOL, GYM ADA VERTICAL ACCESSIBLE LIFT

The Project name is “CALLOWAY COUNTY SCHOOLS, CALLOWAY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, GYM ADA VERTICAL ACCESSIBLE LIFT”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C., Owensboro, Kentucky. Drawings and specifications are dated October 16, 2025.

Abbreviated Written Summary: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the Contract can be summarized as follows:

A. Project Description: Provide a new ADA vertical lift in the gymnasium. Removal of the chair lift is part of the work.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, steel handrails, misc. carpentry, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, finish hardware, painting, vertical lift, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical and clean-up and removal of construction debris.

Proposals will be received on November 6, 2025 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Calloway County Schools Board of Education 2110 College Farm Rd., Murray, KY 42071, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

A prebid conference will be held on October 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at the Calloway County Schools Board of Education, 2110 College Farm Rd., Murray, KY 42071. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) for each set of Documents. All contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Calloway County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
