CITY OF CAVE CITY, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB RENOVATION

The Project name is “CITY OF CAVE CITY, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB RENOVATION, CAVE CITY, KENTUCKY”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C. Drawings and specifications are dated January 13, 2025.

Project Description: Renovation of an existing building to serve as the Boys and Girls Club.

The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, asphalt paving, chain-link fences and gates, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, sheet waterproofing, open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation, membrane roofing preparations, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, overhead coiling doors, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, aluminum windows, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient wall base and accessories, painting, high performance coatings, visual display boards, toilet compartments, signs, post and panel signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, toilet and bath accessories, food service equipment, HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical (power & lighting) systems, and clean-up and removal of construction debris.

A prebid conference will be held on October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at City Hall, City of Cave City, 103 Duke Street, Cave City, Kentucky 42127. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on November 4, 2025, at City Hall, City of Cave City, 103 Duke Street, Cave City, Kentucky 42127, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of One Hundred Fifty Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of One Hundred Fifty Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the Owner Cave City Boys and Girls Club. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
