Project Description: Construction of a new Multiuse Pavilion of approximately 4,300 square feet.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, building demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, turf and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, polished concrete finish, simulated stone masonry, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, sheathing, metal plate connected wood trusses, interior architectural woodwork, building insulation, standing seam metal roof panels, siding, soffits, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, access doors, aluminum clad windows, finish hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, linear wood ceiling, painting, toilet compartments, signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical systems, clean-up and removal of construction debris.
Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.
Proposals will be received at the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens, 2731 West 2nd Street, no later than 2:00 PM, prevailing time on August 28, 2025, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held on Aug 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens, 2731 West 2nd Street, Owensboro, Kentucky. All bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
Electronic copies of the documents are available from Maco/Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN. (812-464-8108). Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco/Evansville Blue.
Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids.
