The City of Dawson Springs (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

City Park Pool and Bathhouse

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Dawson Springs City Hall Annex located at 100 E. Arcadia Ave., Dawson Springs, KY 42408, until Thursday, May 15th, 2025 at 1PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be Publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

The City of Dawson Springs is soliciting bids for the comprehensive reconstruction of the City Park Pool and Bathhouse facilities, which were destroyed by the December 10, 2021, tornado. The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the construction of a new public swimming pool and fully functional bathhouse to serve as a key recreational amenity for the community. Work will include site preparation, pool construction, mechanical and filtration systems, concrete decking, restroom and shower facilities, utility connections, and related site improvements.

Pre-bid Conference

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on May 6th, 2025, at 10:30AM local time at the Dawson Springs City Council Chamber, 200 W Arcadia Ave., Dawson Springs, KY 42408. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

Digital Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the plan room free of charge. Physical copies may be purchased. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
