RUSSELLVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS RHS CANOPY + ENTRANCE RENOVATION

Project consist of the removal of the existing aluminum canopies, sidewalks, and concrete under and between canopies at the front entrance of the Russellville High School as shown in the Construction Documents. New construction consists of two free standing steel canopies with masonry wrapped columns, curved metal roof panels, lighting, and new site improvements consisting of a concrete walks, retaining wall, flagpole, accent lighting, ada ramp, metal guards and railing, steps, and masonry bench seating.

Work includes, but not limited to selective demolition, concrete forming and accessories, concrete reinforcing, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry, structural steel framing, steel decking, metal fabrications, pipe and tube railings, standing seam metal roof panels, thermoplastic-polyolefin (TPO) roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, snow guards, joint sealants, exterior painting, ground-set flagpoles, site clearing, earth moving, termite control, tactile warning surfacing, turf and grasses.

A Pre-Bid Meeting for all bidders will be held on Thursday January 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time at Russellville School, 1101 W. 9th Street, Russellville, Kentucky 42276. All attendees must sign-in at the front lobby then be directed to the meeting room.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday January 11, 2024, at the Russellville Independent Schools Board of Education, located at 355 South Summer Street, Russellville, KY 42276. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms contained in the Project Manual and enclosed in a sealed envelope with the following on the outside:

Bid Documents may be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Russellville Independent Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue. No partial sets will be issued.
