DAVIESS COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS REROOFING

A prebid conference will be held on December 7, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, at the Daviess County Schools Maintenance Office, 1621 Southtown Boulevard, Owensboro, KY 42301. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on December 14, 2023 at the Daviess County Schools Maintenance Office, 1621 Southtown Boulevard, Owensboro, KY 42301, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Project Description: Reroofing work at three schools. The Work Includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, miscellaneous carpentry, modified bituminous membrane roofing, membrane reroofing preparation, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
1. Burns Elementary School: Tear-off and replacement of the Gym Roof, including new gutters and downspouts and sheet metal.
2. Burns Middle School: Tear off and replacement of the Commons Roof, including a metal roof over metal roof on the Commons also.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Prime contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Daviess County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
