OHIO COUNTY SCHOOLS ATC WELDING EXHAUST IMPROVEMENTS

The Ohio County Board of Education will receive lump sum, clearly marked, sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc. for the “Ohio County Schools, Area Technology Center – Welding Exhaust Improvements” project. The project includes acceptance of all existing conditions which are to be inspected by all bidders prior to bidding, alternates as defined in the contract documents and all other general construction, mechanical and electrical work specified in the Contract Documents prepared by the Architect - Hawkins Abney, PLLC dated October 1, 2025.

The project includes the removal of the existing exhaust fans, motors and associated ducts serving the individual welding booths and providing and installing a new ventilation exhaust unit and new ductwork to serve individual welding booth; and all associated mechanical / electrical work as indicated in the Contract Documents.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on October 23, 2025, at the Ohio County Board of Education, located at 315 East Union Street, Hartford, KY 42347. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder.

A Pre-Bid Meeting for all bidders will be held on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the office of Hawkins Abney, PLLC located at 1503 North Main Street, Beaver Dam, Kentucky 42320. All attendees must sign-in at the front lobby then be directed to the meeting room.

Bid Documents may be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of One Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Ohio County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue.
