Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Caverna Independent Board of Education office at 1102 North Dixie Hwy, Cave City, KY 42127 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Project Description: The project consists of construction of one new outdoor classroom near the softball field.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, rough carpentry, metal plate connected wood trusses, building insulation, metal roof and siding panels, soffits, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, metal doors and frames, wood windows, door hardware, painting, mechanical, plumbing and electrical, and clean-up and removal of construction debris.

A prebid conference will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Caverna Independent Board of Education office at 1102 North Dixie Hwy, Cave City, KY. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Caverna Independent Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
