A prebid conference will be held on December 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at the Russellville Independent Schools Rhea Stadium, located at 209 East 9th Street, Russellville, Kentucky. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on December 21, 2023, at the Russellville Independent Schools Board of Education, located at 355 South Summer Street, Russellville Kentucky, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Project Description: The Work consists of restroom renovations at Stevenson Elementary School and Russellville High School, rubber track surfacing at Russellville High School, and Rhea Stadium including retaining wall replacement handicap seating and parking, and LED field lighting.
The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, track and field line markings, chain link fences and gates, lawns and grasses, polyresin track surface, precast modular block retaining wall, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, steel handrails and railings, decorative metal fences and gates, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, door hardware, gypsum board assemblies, ceramic tile, acoustical panel ceilings, painting, toilet compartments, signs, post and panel signs, toilet and bath accessories, companion seating system, plumbing and electrical and clean-up and removal of construction debris.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of Russellville Independent Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
