Project Description: Construction of a New Bus Garage, consisting of 4988 SF with an alternate bid to add an office addition, consisting of approx. 600 additional SF
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, building demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, facility sanitary sewers, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, sheathing, building insulation, metal building insulation, formed metal wall panels, firestopping, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, sectional overhead doors, wood windows, door hardware, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, painting, signs, post and panel signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, toilet and bath accessories, metal building systems, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the office of the Owner, Fulton County Board of Education, 2780 Moscow Ave., Hickman, KY 42050. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the office of the Owner, Fulton County Board of Education, 2780 Moscow Ave., Hickman, KY 42050, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Fulton County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
