SAINT JOSEPH'S FEMALE URSULINE ACADEMY

The Project name is “PAUL VOLK HALL AND CONFERENCE AND RETREAT CENTER DEMOLITION”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C. Drawings and specifications are dated August 1, 2022.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on March 2, 2023, at RBS Design Group, 726 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, KY. The bid opening will be private.

A prebid conference will be held on February 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM prevailing time, at the site, 8001 Cummings Road, Maple Mount, Kentucky. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Project Description: The Work consists of the complete demolition and disposal of two buildings, and includes site work: Paul Volk Hall and the Conference and Retreat Center at Maple Mount. Paul Volk Hall (PVH), is approximately 30,289 sq. ft, and the Retreat Center is approximately 51,506 sq. ft, plus basement wells, dormers, balconies, etc. Also included is 98% compacted fill in the areas where both the buildings are removed, site grading and seeding. There are many utilities connecting the various campus buildings that must be reconnected and restored into service prior to demolition.
The Work includes, but is not limited to building demolition, site clearing, earthwork, hot-mix asphalt paving, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, metal fabrications, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, gypsum board assemblies, site clean-up, and the complete disposal of all debris off-site.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of One Hundred Fifty Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of St. Joseph’s Female Ursuline Academy. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
