Project Description: New synthetic turf at the baseball and football field including drainage system and related items.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, storm damage, chain link fences and gates, lawns and grasses, base construction and related subsurface work for artificial grass field, infilled synthetic turf, cast-in-place concrete, sports equipment and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.
Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at the office of the Owner, Ohio County Schools Board of Education, 315 E. Union St., Hartford, Kentucky, 42347, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the Ohio County High School, 1400 Main St., Hartford, KY. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Ohio County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
Electronic copies of the plans will be available and shall be arranged with and paid for directly to Maco-Evansville Blue (non-refundable).
