SIMPSON COUNTY SCHOOLS, ATHLETIC FIELD IMPROVEMENTS, FRANKLIN, KENTUCKY

Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Thursday October 13, 2022 at the office of the Owner, Simpson County Schools Board of Education, 430 South College Street, Franklin, Kentucky, 42134, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on Thursday October 6, 2022 at the Simpson County High School Football Field. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Project Description:
1) New synthetic turf at the football field, including drainage system
2) New synthetic turf at the soccer field, including drainage system and new 8-lane track with new rubberized coating, and lighting
3) New (6) tennis courts, including fencing & bleachers, and new coating and striping, and lighting

The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, dewatering, earthwork, storm drainage, asphalt paving, tennis court paving, tennis court surfacing system, chainlink fences and gates, lawns and grasses, base construction and related subsurface work for artificial grass field, infilled synthetic turf system, polyresin track system, track striping, cast-in-place concrete, ornamental handrails and railings, sports equipment, track and field equipment, bleachers, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Simpson County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
Electronic copies of the plans will be available and shall be arranged with and paid for directly to Maco-Evansville Blue (non-refundable).
