The Project name is “CRITTENDEN COUNTY SCHOOLS, CRITTENDEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, ROCKET ARENA ADDITION PHASE 3”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C. Drawings and specifications are dated MARCH 1, 2022.

Project Description: Rocket Arena High School Addition includes construction of a new two-story addition, new football field and track and new softball field.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, building demolition, site clearing, dewatering, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, asphalt paving, chain-link fences and gates, lawns & grasses, polyresin track system, track striping, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, structural steel, steel joists, structural roof deck assembly steel deck, structural termination & transition assemblies, cold formed metal framing, cold formed metal trusses, metal fabrications, metal stairs, ornamental handrails & railings, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, self-adhering sheet waterproofing, spray polyurethan foam insulation and air barrier system, open cell spray foam insulation, asphalt shingles, metal wall panels, soffits, modified bituminous membrane roofing-cold applied, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, firestopping, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, flush wood doors, aluminum-framed entrances & storefronts, security transaction windows, finish hardware, glazing, mirrors, gypsum sheathing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient floor tile, resilient wall base and accessories, carpet tile, epoxy flooring, painting, high-performance coatings, visual display boards, impact-resistant wall panel protection, flagpoles, signs, metal lockers, fire protection specialties, protective covers, operable panel partitions, toilet and bath accessories, foodservice equipment, football, track & field, and softball equipment, laboratory fume hoods, exterior electronic scoreboards, wood laboratory casework, floor mats, grandstand renovations, pressbox hydraulic elevators, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, electronic safety and security, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.

There are Alternate Bids included. Refer to specification section 01230.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 P.M., prevailing time on June 7, 2022, at the office of the Owner, Rocket Arena Conference Room, Crittenden County Board of Education, 601 West Elm Street, Marion, Kentucky, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

A prebid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on May 31, 2022, at the Crittenden County Middle/High School, 519 West Gum Street, Marion, Kentucky. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.

Two sets of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by general contractors and one set by mechanical, plumbing and electrical contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708
(812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Crittenden County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
