The Project name is “HENDERSON COUNTY SCHOOLS, CENTRAL ACADEMY FIRE ALARM REPLACEMENT, HENDERSON, KENTUCKY”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C. Drawings and specifications are dated June 21, 2021.
Project Description: The Work consists of removing existing fire alarm system and replacing with a new fire alarm system.
The Work includes, but is not limited to electrical demolition, basic electrical requirements, basic materials and methods, electrical service system, fire alarm addressable and clean-up and removal of construction debris.
Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.
Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on August 12, 2021, at the Center for Support Services, located behind the Board of Education office at 1805 Second Street, Henderson, KY 42420, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held on August 3, 2021, at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, at the Center for Support Services, located behind the Board of Education office at 1805 Second Street, Henderson, KY 42420. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Henderson County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
Electronic copies of the documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN. (812-464-8108). Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue.
Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids.
