Proposals will be received until 12:00 PM, prevailing time, on February 23, 2021, at the Ohio County Board of Education Office, 315 E. Union St, Hartford, KY 42347, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held on February 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at the Ohio County Area Technology Center, 1406 South Main Street, Hartford, KY 42347. Although not mandatory, all bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
Project Description: The Work consists of a one story 4 classroom addition to the Area Technology Center, new mechanical / electrical room, a new administration suite, new restrooms, and renovations to the interior of the existing building.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, asphalt paving, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, structural steel, steel joists, steel deck, metal fabrications, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, metal wall panels, metal composite wall panels, spray foam insulation and air barrier system, thermoplastic roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, firestopping, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, flush wood doors, aluminum windows, finish hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient floor tile, sheet vinyl floor coverings, painting, visual display boards, signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, toilet and bath accessories, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. General Contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Ohio County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
