Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on February 13, 2020, at the Daviess County Schools Maintenance Office, 1621 Southtown Boulevard, Owensboro, KY 42301, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held on February 6, 2020, at 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, at the Daviess County Schools Maintenance Office, 1621 Southtown Boulevard, Owensboro, KY., 42301. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. General Contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Daviess County Public Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to MACO-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
Electronic copies of the plans will be available and shall be arranged with and paid for directly to MACO-Evansville Blue (non-refundable).
Partial sets of documents are not available.
Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids.
Project Description: The Work consists of construction of a new greenhouse and related work.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, water distribution, sanitary sewerage, trenching and backfill, storm drainage, cast-in-place concrete, pre-engineered greenhouse structure, HVAC & plumbing systems, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
