NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received for the USS LST 325 Mooring Dredging for the Port Authority of Evansville at the offices of the Purchasing Department of Evansville, Civic Center Complex- Room 323, 1 NW Martin Luther King Blvd. Evansville, IN 47708 until 3:45 p.m. CST on Monday, January 14, 2019. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Port Authority of Evansville meeting, which begins at 4:00 PM CST at the Civic Center Complex- Room 307, 1 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Evansville, IN 47708.
Bids to be submitted prior to the scheduled bid opening shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department of Evansville, Civic Center Complex- Room 323, 1 NW Martin Luther King Blvd. Evansville, IN 47708. All Bids received after the designated time, for any reason, will be returned unopened.
A completed set of documents and plans are available for examination at the Evansville Vanderburgh County Purchasing Department, Civic Center Complex- Room 323,1 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Evansville, IN 47708 during regular business hours. Complete documents and plans can also be obtained electronically by registering as a plan holder at www.macoplan room.com. Electronic files can be downloaded for a non-refundable fee of $25. Printed copies of bidding documents are also available for purchase at www.macoplanroom.com or at MACO- Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN 47708.
A Pre-bid meeting for all Contractors and/or Sub-Contractors will be held at 11:00 am (CDT) local time on December 17th, 2018 at the project site. Attendance at the Pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all General/ Prime Contractors. Failure to attend shall render any Bid non-responsive.
Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and clearly marked:

Opening: 4:00 pm CST, January 14,2019
Bids shall be submitted on the standard Bid Form (Indiana Form 96 Revised 2013), signed, sealed, with the Non- Collusion Affidavit properly signed and notarized, and with the Corporate Seal affixed.
Each Bid shall be accompanied (in the same envelope) by a Bid Bond or Certified Check, made payable to the PORT AUTHORITY OF EVANSVILLE in an amount equal to Five Percent (5%) of the total bid submitted.
The Contractor receiving award will be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid price, which is to remain in effect for Twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of the work.
The Contractor shall be aware they will be required to list all subcontractors and the percentage of the contract performed by each subcontractor.
This bid is subject to City and County Minority/Women Business Utilization Program, found in Evansville Municipal Code 3.90.110-180 and Vanderburgh County Code 2.26.010-080.
Construction and installation shall be in full accordance with the Bid documents a n d Technical Specifications, together with all Addenda thereto.
The Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Evansville reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, and to waive any informalities in the Bids.
No oral interpretations will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Drawings and Specifications or other Contract documents. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing, addressed and forwarded to the Engineer (firstname.lastname@example.org) on or before Jan. 8th, 2019.
Advertisement Dates: Nov. 30, 2018 and Dec. 7, 2018
